Terms &Conditions
The terms that apply to this website and to the work we do.
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Using this site
This website is provided for information about our services. You may read it, share links to it, and contact us through it. Nothing on it is an offer, a contract, or a promise to perform work at a particular price.
Please use the site for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt it, copy it wholesale, scrape it, or submit false information through the form.
Estimates and pricing
The prices and ranges shown on our service pages are planning figures based on typical projects. They exist so you can judge whether a project is in the right order of magnitude before you contact us. They are not quotes.
A quote becomes binding only when it is issued in writing for a defined scope and accepted by you. If the scope changes after that, the additional work is re-quoted before it starts — we do not add charges after the fact. The written estimate you accept governs the work and replaces anything stated on this site.
No professional advice
Content on this site is general information about our services. It is not legal, financial, accessibility-compliance or other professional advice for your specific situation. Talk to us about your actual circumstances before making a decision, and where a specialist is needed we will say so.
Project scope and timelines
Timelines assume we receive content, feedback and access to accounts when we ask for them. Delays in supplying these move the delivery date, and we will tell you when that happens rather than letting a deadline quietly slip.
Where a project depends on a third party — a hosting provider, a domain registrar, an advertising or search platform — we are not responsible for that party's outages, policy changes or approval decisions.
Your responsibilities
To keep a project moving, we ask that you:
- Give accurate contact and business information when you request an estimate
- Have the authority to commission the work and to grant access to the accounts involved
- Supply content, images and approvals within the agreed timeframes
- Hold the rights to any text, photography or logos you send us to publish
What you own
On final payment, you own the website content, the design as delivered, and your domain, hosting, advertising and analytics accounts. We do not hold accounts hostage and we do not charge a release fee.
We retain the right to describe the work and show screenshots of the delivered site as part of our own portfolio. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will leave it out.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in the written quote for each project. Work may be paused if an invoice remains unpaid past its terms.
Marketing results
SEO and online marketing outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including competition, platform changes, seasonality and your own market. See our disclaimer for the full position: we do not guarantee rankings, traffic volumes, lead counts or revenue.
Ending an engagement
Either of us can end an ongoing monthly engagement with reasonable written notice. Work completed up to that point is invoiced; work not yet started is not. Fixed-scope projects are governed by the terms in their quote.
Site availability and accuracy
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as is. Service details, prices and coverage areas change. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site, and nothing here limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law or any warranty in a signed agreement with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it.
